The Sims Medieva l manages to do everything right, from the touch controls to the solid visuals. Unlike your Sims’ moods in The Sims 3, focus in The Sims Medieval is essential for success. These are welcome but all-too brief arcade diversions. DVD versions of The Sims Medieval do not work on Windows 8 or 10 (I think it's due to the copy protection used in TSM), you must use the Origin version of The Sims Medieval although be advised that the Origin release includes the Origin sign-in requirement much like The Sims 4 and The Sims 3 1.69. I played this game years ago and recently remembered it and thought it might be really fun to play again, only to discover it's been abandoned and is unavailable for purchase on Steam or EA's Sims store. There are console ports, it's got a lot of content, it's very moddable and the community. Sims 3 is just more accessable than Sims 4 currently is. The Sims Medieval is a different story since it wasn't a main Sims 3 game, just a spin-off like what Castaways and the Stories series was in the Sims 2 era. The Sims Medieval is simple, fun, and, most importantly, adapted well for the mobile. It's been 2 years of MEH with the Sims 4. The Sims series hasn't evolved too much since its debut a couple of decades ago, so hardcore Simmers know what to expect from each new spin off. ![]()
